In our final regular church service of this year, we celebrate our annual Flower Ceremony! This ritual began 101 years ago when Rev. Norbert Čapek created it for his congregation in Czechoslovakia as a representation of the beauty of the individuals of his congregation gathered in community. Bring a flower to build our congregational bouquet. Whether it grows wild near your home, comes from a store, or has been grown in your garden, we will celebrate the wide array of flowers we gather. Before we part, we’ll each take a flower home, carrying a piece of our congregation into our summer.
