Gathered: A Flower Ceremony Service

It’s our final regular service of the year and we are coming together in our tradition of celebrating Norbert Čapek’s Flower Ceremony! Come build the bouquet in community, hear stories of resilience, and take with you a reminder of the joy of our congregation and the sustaining care we create.

After the service join us as we celebrate the retirement of our Acting Director of Religious Education, Rose Sheehan, with an ice cream social!

New to Flower Ceremony? It is our tradition that each person brings a flower to this service. Your flower may be one you’ve bought, cut from your own garden, or a wildflower you’ve found out in the world. Part of the beauty of our bouquet is wide range of sources, colors, and types of flowers that are gathered when we come together. Forget your flower, or don’t have time? Don’t let that keep you from church; we’ll be sure to have some available!
