We will look at the idea of transformative justice through the words of Black queer feminist thinker Adrienne Maree Brown, which she describes as “justice practices that go all the way to the root of the problem and generate solutions and healing there, such that the conditions that create injustice are transformed.” How have we seen this create possibility? How can we bring more opportunities for growth and a radical shifting when harm is done? We will talk together about our own roles and hopes for change.
