The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. used the term “beloved community” to describe a world where we are free from systematic and systemic oppressions, and justice and equity help shape our interdependent relationships. Today’s multigenerational service will pursue beloved community through ritual, song, sharing, and learning as we look at what strengthens and detracts from the work of beloved community today. Join us for a whole church cooperative game as we explore all of the large and small ways that we, the people, shape our world.
