Have you ever said hello to a stranger? Have you ever had a delightful conversation with a stranger? Have you ever said good morning to a fellow passenger on the commuter rail? Some days we have a little extra energy to reach out to the world. Some days we can go through our days tucked into ourselves like a snail in a shell. We can keep our eyes don or look around. This is not to say that every time you say hello someone will even nod back. But it you don’t break the ice, most other people won’t do it for you.
