The whole First Parish Church community is invited to participate in the ordination of Megan R. Dowdell, a Unitarian Universalist minister who grew up at First Parish. Ordination signals that a person has been called forth from a congregation and recognized as a religious leader in Unitarian Universalism following several years in theological education and an intensive interview process with the Ministerial Fellowship Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Association. During that service, Megan will be conferred with the rights and privileges of ordination that only a congregation can give, including the use of the title of “Reverend.” Come share in this important ritual in the life of a covenanted community!
