Sunday April 28 was an inspiring potluck lunch after church. A number of church members and friends gathered for the Climate Cafe, led by Liz Duff. We discussed the dire crisis the world is facing if we don’t reverse our fossil fuel consumption. People shared their ideas and their passions and will continue to meet to turn that passion into proactive action. We will meet on Sunday May 19, after church to continue this discussion and invite all who are searching for answers to the serious environmental injustice. At a family level, at a congregation level, at a citywide level, and state and national level, we will act and advocate to make this world a better place for our children. Please join us for this discussion. Contact Steve Hoy, Liz Duff, Julie Long or Paul Drake for more information.
