AND NOW WE…

This week, many of us hold grief and uncertainty in the wake of the election results. Today, we balance making space for that grief, being tender with our most fragile selves, and begin to prepare for the work ahead. We listen to the words of those who commit themselves to this work of endurance, we hold space for one another. With the last four days behind us, we all arrive in unique places today. Let us make space, together, for those still working to breathe through this moment, and those ready to take action. With our annual cornbread communion, we join in shared meal, because nourishment is how we strengthen our bodies and minds to care for one another and this world.
