Brad Willenbrock and Melissa O’Connell, Worship Associates

It was not until the 1960s that our country started recognizing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities as human beings. Since then, our nation has wrestled with just and humane approaches to serve people in this marginalized group. Brad and Melissa will illuminate the worth and dignity of people with varying abilities. As nationally known self‐advocate Chris Burke put it, “It’s not our disabilities, it’s our abilities that count.” In that spirit, First Parish Choir will sing The Greatest Showman hit, “This is Me.”
