First Parish Church in Beverly, Unitarian Universalist is closed today, Friday, May 1, as part of the General Strike across the country.

Every Sunday, we recite our affirmation of faith: “Love is the spirit of this church, and service its law. This is our great covenant: to dwell together in peace, to seek truth in love, and to help one another.” So today, in love, in service, and in solidarity, we act as part of a mass movement seeking true justice and deep democracy.

We will be gathering together again this Sunday, May 3, and we would love to see you there as we continue our work to build a world that supports all of us.
